To test the ODRA engine has been installed correctly:
Verify that the plug-ins were successfully installed: run Eclipse, select Help-About Eclipse SDK-Plug-in Details. A list of all plug-ins installed on Eclipse will appear.
Verify ODRA Database server installation: run the server.bat (or server.sh) file in the Odra database installation directory to start the Odra server. Console window with message Listening for user connections ... should appear.
Verify that VIDE Common Core and VIDE Textual Editor plug-ins were successfully installed: run Eclipse, switch to the VIDE perspective (Window-Open Perspective-Other-VIDE) and create new VIDE source code file: File-New-VIDE-Textual File.
