To check whether the AO UML Profiles are installed correctly, create a UML class in the aspect model and try to apply the stereotype aspect. If the stereotype can be applied, all other elements, described in the AO UML Profiles, are also available.
The installation of the aspect weaver can be checked by launching the context menu on a UML model file in the workspace. The aspect weaver is installed correctly if the context menu contains an additional menu item called “Run AO Composition".
